First, decide what you want to eat. Take your food goals, and be crystal clear about them. Write them down and look at them several times throughout the day. A vague goal of eating the best you can or eating healthy every day won’t get you eating better. You have to clearly see what you want – and see it often.Remember, you won’t eat better without complete and total personal commitment to eating well.. If you’re leaving out even 1% of your total dedication to accomplishing your goal, you won’t get there.
Think about this…what would happen if your doctor had a 99% commitment to healing you or your loved one? Would that be enough for you? Would you have respect for them? This is a tough one for some folks. Not everyone is comfortable taking a hard look at their eating habits. But if you’re serious about being successful you need to look within to see what you’re doing to create your own dining experience. You also need to be honest about what things about food you need to learn to get you to where you want to be.
